Oakview Middle School is one of three middle schools located in the Lake Orion Community Schools district, a growing suburban area north of Detroit. Our enrollment for 2006–07 is approximately 615 students in grades 6 through 8, with 12 percent of our students in special education. We are a Title 1 school organized into interdisciplinary teams and with a focus on meeting the individual needs of all students. We have a strong program to support the academic needs of our at-risk students and an effective advisory program that has been refined to meet the unique affective needs of our students.
